Alexandra Montalbano, RADT, serves as the Lead Behavioral Health Technician at New Spirit Recovery. With two years of experience in behavioral healthcare, she plays a key role in supporting clients throughout detox and residential treatment, working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, engagement, and continuity of care.
In her role, Alexandra provides hands-on support through recovery coaching, group facilitation, and daily patient engagement. Her areas of focus include relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping skills development, and helping clients translate treatment insights into practical, sustainable behaviors. She is committed to maintaining structure and consistency while offering compassionate, responsive care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Professional Philosophy
Alexandra believes recovery is possible with the right combination of safety, structure, compassion, and accountability. She uses a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach that emphasizes dignity, consistency, and honest support. Her goal is to meet people where they are, build trust, and empower patients develop practical skills that support lasting change.
She’s driven by seeing people reconnect with hope and begin believing in themselves again. I’m motivated by creating an environment where patients feel safe, respected, and supported—and by enabling them take real, measurable steps forward in their recovery.
Before entering the behavioral health field, she competed in horseback riding for 20 years and earned five championships, an experience that shaped her discipline, resilience, and commitment to long-term growth.
