Jesse Thorpe

Operations Director

Jesse Thorpe, SUDRC, serves as Operations Director for New Spirit Recovery and Elevate Wellness Center. With four years of experience in the behavioral health field, Jesse oversees clinical operations and program execution, ensuring treatment environments remain safe, structured, and aligned with evidence-based practices.

In his role, Jesse is responsible for day-to-day operational leadership, program oversight, and quality assurance across treatment services. His areas of focus include substance use disorder treatment delivery, crisis intervention and safety planning, client engagement and accountability, relapse prevention support, and staff training and development. He works closely with clinical and operational teams to integrate evidence-based practices into daily programming while maintaining consistency, structure, and high standards of care.

Professional Philosophy

Jesse believes in meeting individuals where they are with compassion, structure, and respect. Recovery is most effective when care is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in accountability and consistency. He values creating a safe, supportive environment that promotes honesty, personal responsibility, and long-term growth. My approach emphasizes evidence-based practices, authentic connection, and empowering individuals to build sustainable, meaningful lives in recovery.

Thorpe is driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals find stability, purpose, and hope in their recovery journey. Seeing clients gain confidence, rebuild their lives, and reconnect with themselves and their families motivates me every day. His personal experiences, blended with a passion for service and accountability, fuel his dedication to creating environments where lasting change is possible.

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors through hiking, kayaking, boating, off-roading, and paintball. He values quality time with my family and activities that promote balance, teamwork, and personal growth.

Before entering the behavioral health field, Jesse spent five years working in the film industry. He later chose to transition into recovery services as a way to give back to the community that played a vital role in saving my life—a decision that continues to shape his passion for service, growth, and meaningful connection.
